Insiders at Bank of America (BAC) and General Electric (GE) bought stock in their respective companies in the past week, which hadn’t happened at either company in more than six months. Both stocks have been strong of late — GE got a boost a couple of months ago after it raised is dividend, and Bank of America has risen 34% so far this year after a disastrous 2011.
At Bank of America, Director Donald Powell bought 7,000 shares for about $51,000 on Jan. 26. On Feb. 1, Director Susan Bies bought 50,000 shares for about $370,000. At GE, Director Alan Lafley bought 10,000 shares for about $190,000 on Jan. 31. Original Article Source by Barrons.com |
