Stocks rose in pre-market trading Wednesday, as Goldman Sachs (GS) and other financial companies reported earnings. In addition, wholesale prices fell 0.1% in December, and industrial production data will come out at 9:15 a.m.
Dow futures rose 27 points to 12,447; S&P 500 futures rose 3.4 points to 1,292.7. Goldman rose 1.3% in pre-market trading after beating earnings expectations.
