Pfizer: Nestle, Danone Looking to Buy Baby Food Group

Pfizer (PFE) is looking to spin off or sell its baby food unit, and it’s already attracted interest from two big European countries. Bloomberg reported today that Danone (DANOY) and Nestle (NSRGY) have both made first-round bids for the company.

Pfizer is looking to sell assets so it can focus more closely on its main pharmaceutical division. Pfizer plans to decide what to do with the baby food decision at some point this year.
