Weight Watchers ( WTW) rose 8.4% today after announcing deals with NYSE Euronext ( NYX) and America Express ( AXP) that will allow employees of those companies to sign up for the program and have all or part of it paid for by their employer. AmEx will pay 100% of the cost and NYSE will pay 50%.
The release announcing the deals actually came out on Jan. 3, but the stock has maintained momentum for the last couple of days, rising 7.1%.
