Supreme Court to Hear Health-Care Reform
President Barak Obama’s health-care reform legislation is heading to the U.S. Supreme Court. After four federal appellate courts have weighed in*differently on the constitutionality of the health-care overhaul signed into law last year,* the justices announced today that they have agreed to hear a high-profile challenge brought by a group that includes Republican governors and attorneys general from 26 states. According to the WSJ , the case raises several issues, the biggest being whether Congress exceed its constitutional powers when it required that by 2014 most individuals must carry health insurance or pay a penalty.
