Sources are saying that Libyan leader Moammar Gadhafi is preparing to flee, as rebels continue to advance toward the capital and extend their territory.

People in Tripoli, which for now remains under Gadhafi’s control, have said that the government is stepping up its anti-protest efforts, and the capital remains quiet, as tanks patrol the streets. However, gun battles have raged just 30 miles outside the city. Rebels have strengthened their hold in the east, and promised to continue to Tripoli. They believe that Gadhafi is on the move int he city.
