I would like to know what are the safest private banks (or none private), with the least risk to place my company shareholder funds? Are there any private banks not exposed to commercial lending, not exposed to mortgages for houses, preferably with low or no interbank lending. Also a bank which does not have investments in government bonds in countries with high national debt. (E.g. USA, UK and other western countries)
What I am really doing here is risk assessment in the event of the following. 1. Double dip recession leading to the most severe worldwide economic depression ever in the history of mankind. 2. Corporate company failures on a very large scale, and other business failures. 3. Collapse in the banking system in USA, UK and other European countries, and else where. With some major banks going bust and the knock on chain effect this will have from bank to bank. 4. Collapse in the housing market in USA and UK, and other countries where home ownership is prominent 5. Large scale unemployment in USA and Europe and worldwide. If you could let me know in your considered opinion which are the top 5 safest private banks (or none private banks), to bank with? Preferably in Switzerland or Liechtenstein (or other location)? I look forward to hearing from you. Kind Regards Mark Ps. What I am really trying to get at here, is with that scenario stated above, which banks are likely to survive, or have the best chance of surviving? |
