Has anyone ever ordered a one cent item on ebay that has free shipping?

I have just been looking through ebay tonight and I found a lot of $0.01 items that also have free shipping. A lot of these items are for things that are sent through email like desktop wallpapers and stuff but some things were real items that would be shipped to you. Is this a scam? Most of the items are from Hong Kong and it just seems a little bit sketchy. Have you ever done this? Do the items ever get shipped to you?
