well, joining a randomizer is actually profitable if you know how to use it. these randomizer pages really work (each time you refresh the page, you get a random member to pay to) but it wont hurt you to promote your own page as well. when you join, you get your own page and you can actually promote that in traffic exchanges and other media.

i already profited in this site and each time i promote my own link i get a new payment notification. it didn't make me rich but it made my alertpay funds bloom.

Yes its like gambling, but your description of "how it works" is incorrect.

Most randomizer programs are simple membership-based sites with "random referrals".
You pay a referral fee to the sponsor and a admin fee to the site owner when you join.

Once you are a member, you usually have access to some ebooks or other downloadable software and you get your own referral link to directly sponsor other members.

The term "randomizer" comes into play because when someone visits the site without a referral link a "random" members link is assigned. So in essence, when the admin advertises the sites main url random members will get paid when people join. It is possible to make lots of money with a single one-time investment. It's also possible you might make none at all! Thats just the nature of gambling and making an investment in something.
