Until now more than 1000 people has been killed by the flu in Denmark within the last 12 months. But this has not yet effected the danish economy.
Hospitals are reporting that most of the people died are old and sick people. Will this also effect the nearby countries like Sweden and Norway as well a Germany? The reason can be that every year the flu kills about 1000 people in Denmark. That is about 1000% more than what the H1N1 virus has kill all over the world up til now. Has anyone asked them self what is going on??? Why such a chaos just because a few people die of a flu? Why write so many headlines and articles about a flu that is less dangerous that the every year flu in north Europe? Get real people and get you focus back on the crises instead of using your time on such a stupid thing as the swineflu. The Doc |

I don't know if every case of this outbreak have been reported to WHO.. but according to their site (27 May '09 updated) there are 13,398 cases of influenza A(H1N1) infection, including 95 deaths on 48 countries... do you think that the 1000 people you just stated were not reported??

This the case of the swineflu I think it is interesting to see how fast the focus was taken away for the financial crises. We have a few hundred people sick in mexico, a country there 15.000 people die of HIV every year and more than 50.000 people die enery year from hepatitis and dengue fever mostly because of bad hygiene. Lets get the focus back on the global problem we are facing. If the credit crises is not taken care of, we will have hepatitis and dengue fever in cities of the USA because of bad hygiene, because of the amount of people living in slum because they had to leave there houses.
