New lows are tested daily on the exchanges all over the world. Worse hit is the US market that is on a brink of collapse if the trend continues for next couple of months.
The Dow lows of Nov. 20 failed a retest Thursday, and the blue chip index is now at levels not seen since early in the Bush administration. What could seem as an isolated case with the Lehman Brother bank could soon be reality for Bank of America and Citigroup. The two behemoths financial institutions are facing rumors from nationalization to collapse after they yesterday plummeted. Citigroup 22,31% and Bank of America felt 3,56%. What to do now? Where is the bottom, is there a bottom or will the world change significantly? The answer is simple in times of turmoil. Ride the wave whether its up or down. Is the trend down? Then short sell like there is no tomorrow. Spread bet the markets down. Stop buying shares and start shorting anything that plummets. There is no reason to wait for bottomless bottoms when the downtrend brings as much yield as it would in an uptrend. |
