Default Boycott on PayPal?

It seems that a large amount of users are actively closing their accounts on PayPal in order to show support to Wikileaks. This is in a way a very bold move towards one of the biggest financial companies in the world. Question is if it will have any impact at all or if this is the first round of retaliation against the banking structure as it stands these days.

There is no question about the fact that people all over the world are extremely fed up by the financial institutions and their complete lack of respect for people's money.

To live in a world today means succumbing to the powers that be, that is the powers controlling the issuing of money, the issuing of debt certificates and the issuing of oversight and complete control over people's money. This ideology is wrong in a democratic world.

A bank today has more power than any other private institution as it usually controls a wast amount of money that people have entrusted the bank. The problem with this also lies in the fact that people never really control their own money, as they are at the mercy of the bank and their 100 pages long terms and conditions.

The more time passes the more it looks like that a change in the world of finances is going to come sooner or later. In any regard, the banking system itself is flawed, not because of its capability to speculate with non-existing money, but because of its ties with government institutions that uses their powers through the privately owned banking system. In a democratic world, this is fundamentally flawed, and whomever is in charge of PayPal should at least have the courage and foresight to do the right thing. This obviously would never happen.
