Here is a sick stoty about how an employee at the danish social services described visit at a doctors office. Note that this has never had any consequence for the employee or the management.
Read this below: The Goat Report Report on the Visit of the City of Frederiksberg Department of Social Services to the Residence Located Birkemosevej 46, St. Th., 2610 Rødovre February 28, 1992, accompanied by officers of the City of Frederiksberg Police, Dorthe Henriksen, an employee with the City of Frederiksberg Department of Social Services, visited a number of private residences of Eva Graungaard, MD. MS Henriksen's report in Danish has been translated into English, but not edited. In particular, ambiguous or obscure bureaucratic language has been retained verbatim from the Danish original. On February 28, 1992, the following residences were visited along with the City of Frederiksberg Police: 1) Birkemosevej 46, st., th., 2610 Rødovre. The apartment was closed down. Curtains were drawn and blinds were shut in all rooms. The apartment showed no signs of being inhabited by children's. 2) Voldumvej 22, 2610 Rødovre. Description enclosed below. 3) Sankt Nikolaj Vej 15, 3., th., 2000 Frederiksberg. Five bedroom apartment filled with furniture, clothes, old toys. One room functioned as bedroom and contained three single beds and two childrens beds. Eva Graungaard informed us that she and her husband intended to occupy the apartment together with their three youngest children. By the three youngest children, Eva Graungaard referred to Anne Marie, Lisbeth, and Ditte Marie. It appeared that the kitchen and bedroom had been used during the previous days. The kitchen contained left-over food, and the beds in the bedroom had been turned down and slept in. The apartment was freshly painted, but in-orderly and void of structure. 4) Birkemosevej 51, st., th., 2610 Rødovre. At this address we encountered eighteen year old Emil Graungaard Somogy, the son of Eva and Karl. We were permitted to inspect the apartment. It is leased by Rie Grauengaard who has terminated the lease as of March 1, 1992. The apartment had been cleared of furniture. Emil informed us that Rie Graungaard had obtained another apartment in the City (Copenhagen, Ed.). He did not remember the address or vicinity. 5) Rolfsvej 9, 2., th., 2000 Frederiksberg. The apartment belongs to Ivan Somogyi. We found nobody home. 6) A new visit was paid to Birkemosevej 46, st., th., 2610. Again, no one was found home. Arriving at the recidence Voldumsvej 22, 2610 Rødovre, we found their (Dr. Graungaard and partners, Ed.) physician's office to be open. Eva Graungaard met us in the foyer and refused us access. She was subsequently notified of the court order issued by Lau Friess. Eva Graungaard became angry and agitated as she saw that Erik Havgaard was present. She refused him entry, claiming that Erik Havgaard had previously slandered her. It was now decided that the female officer and I should search the house together with Eva Graungaard and Karl Somogyi The residence is a one-story house with a sizable basement. The residence contains several rooms. Some are used for the physician's office; some for living space or storage. The ground floor is mainly used as a physician's office, complete with lobby, waiting room, and reception room. Adjacent to it, to the left, is a long corridor containing four patient's rooms. At the end of the corridor is a child's room. Eva Graungaard informed us that this room had been occupied by Lisbeth and Anne-Marie; however, at present the room contained only a closet, dirty laundry, and other items. There were no beds in the room, which was filthy and had a penetrating odor similar to a horse stable. The living room was now unlocked, and we were led in. The living room is at the center of the house. It contains a multitude of furniture, arranged without plan. On all furniture, without exception, lay clothes, old furniture, and other clutter. The room appeared very dirty and had a penetrating odor of urine and feces. We were next led out of the living room on the opposite side and into a corridor containing two rooms, a washroom, and a long, narrow room. Contained in this room were four examination areas in which three patients were at the time being treated. In addition to the patients a goat was present in the room. While this city official was present in the room, the goat defecatred. We were next led to the end of the hallway, into a large foyer containing stairs to the basement. At the top of the stairs were strewn multiple paper towels which Eva Graengaard asked to have removed, saying that "the goose had been there". While descending the stairs, the present official noted in addition to the paper towels two used syringes, blood stains, and bloody cotton balls with band aids attached. We were now led into the basement, into a long corridor containing several small rooms used for storage space. In the corridor proper was stored readily accessible drugs and other medical products. The corridor was cluttered and reeked from urine and feces littering most of the floor. At the end of the corridor was a large laundry room in which was stored a caged white mink In a locked room adjacent to the hallway was found a very disheveled male aged 45-50 years. In addition to the man, the room contained a largish dog, which Eva Graungaard grabbed and threw into an adjacent closet/room. The room was cluttered and unbelievably filthy, with feces on the floor. No natural light penetrated to the room. We were next led into two adjacent rooms, containing a multitude of furniture arranged without plan. On almost all furniture was placed clothes, carpets, and other items. The rooms appeared very dirty. These rooms also reeked unbearably from urine and feces, visible from the many carpets. The garden outside this room contained the previously mentioned goose. Eva Graungaard informed us that they had ordered a cleaning service, and that they had earlier had domestic help with cleaning and care for the three small children (Lisbeth, Anne Marie, and Ditte Marie). Eva Graungaard was asked by the female officer if she knew the whereabouts of the children. She replied that she unfortunately did not know. It was incidental that she had found them on the day they were recorded for "Kanalen". Eva Graungaard personally assumed they were runaways. While the house was being searched, Karl Somogyi twice attempted to reveal what he knew and thought. On each occasion he was hushed up by Eva Graungaard. We now returned to the entrance, finishing the inspection. Prior to leaving, we overheard Eva Graungaard telephoning City Hall and requesting to talk to Mayor Winther. Her male secretary contacted "Kanalen" by telephone. Dorte Hendriksen ---- What follows was subsequently mailed to Eva Garungaard's legal counsel, Søltoft Madsen, Esq. I, Dorte Hendriksen, City of Frederiksberg Department of Social Services, apologize and regret that I, in a report on the inspection of Drs. Eva Grauegaard's and Karl Symogyi's practice, located Voldumvej 22 in Roedovre, claimed having observed a goat in a treatment area in which patients were also present. I now admit that this was never the case. Frederiksberg, November 9 1992. Dorte Hendriksen (signed). |
