Are there any hyips out there that actually do pay? I've invested in about 5 of these programs in my life and got screwed each and every time.

Its a risk you have to take. Most HYIPs are ponzies, so when you invest you have to assume its a ponzie from the start, and take it as a game.
Many HYIPs are run by the same admins, but you cant easily make it out.

Why do these things still exist if all they do is loose money for people? I can't believe that people don't know about this by now.

I tried this one time with poor results and have steered clear ever since. Very reminiscent of the Nigerian prince who is supposed to be sending me thousands of dollars...

Then why even bother to invest in this stuff?? It's not even an investment, it's gambling, or worse - you're just getting rid of your money. Well, if I want to get rid of my hard-earned cash, I know more pleasant ways to do it - like going on a cruise, for example.

lol. Thats a good way to spend your money. Well, i agree with you.

In the old days HYIPs truly did return high yields. They did invest, perhaps, for there have been HYIPs which ran for over 3 years without complaints and with 1-3% daily plans. Well, in the old days.
Today, i guess that illusion still does exist on people minds, which is obvious with the growing number of HYIPs.
And well, people know that until a HYIP turns scam, it pays. So, yeah, if you're lucky, you'll get 30% or so of what you deposited. I guess that sounds good, for many do invest.
But no, its not worse than gambling.

So I guess we all kind of want to know if any of these are actually worth our time??

I honestly don't see how any of them could be worth our time. I don't see it as worse than gambling but I definitely do see it as the same thing as gambling.
