Default Carving the Chaotic Cow

Hello everyone. A friend and I threw some high level mathematics from quantum physics, fluid mechanics, and engineering control systems at the stock market and came up with a very compelling model for financial markets.

I'm writing the model up into a blog with the goal of making the material presentable without having to use the full mathematics. This involves lots of illustrations and analogous situations to make it readily digestible. I'm getting far enough along in the material for it to really start heating up.

The next few posts will focus on the time relationships for fundamental (price elasticity) influences, followed by a proposal for how to properly implement an artificial neural network in light of the model.

The theme for the blog closely reflects the major conclusions, which is that the level of determinism that exists in the stock market is represented in the most easily recognized and profitable trades. Taken as a cow, there are cuts of the meat that are able to be carved, and those that are more shrouded in uncertainty.

A lot of the work was inspired by the work of Paul Ormerod, a very bright economist with works like "The Death of Economics" and "Butterfly Economics" to his pen. Even if you're not interested in the blog, I have to advise reading into him if only because he's right about a lot of the inconsistencies of economic theory and reality.
