Default The definitive best software for trading

Whether you are a Hedge Fund manager, a bank's asset manager or a private investor there is the unbeatable system of Reuters that is not be compare with anything else out there.

The Reuters 3000 Xtra Hosted Terminal is a unique piece of software that helps every trader. It is the perfect system for stocks, bonds, IPO monitor, commodity trading, forex trading and anything else that involves public trading basically.

I have myself started using the system for about 2 weeks now and I can already feel the difference in my daily future trading.

There are options to news feed 24/7, and you can choose whatever category you might like (Gold, Oil etc), and even go into details (Crude Oil, OPEN output etc). You have to experience the system to understand it, and only if you have a big portfolio for trading (5000$ and up) would this system be worth to you as it can cost from 2000€ and up depending on how many terminal access points you need.

If you are a trading and sick of different third party programs, this system offers any technical analysis and anything a real trader can imagine, then you should try it out.

I think..TradeStation is a good product. If you own it you can program Trend Following rules and save some time. Is it absolutely needed? No. The bottom line is that you have many choices in the tools you use to trade. But don't kid yourself. Fancy charts, bells, whistles won't help you to make money. The reason why so many older methods of trading automation work well is because as a Trend Follower you have a longer time frame for decisions. The issue of purchasing the latest and greatest hardware and software becomes a moot point. If you are trading tick by tick day trading or arbitrage, you might need super computing horsepower.
