Hi everyone,
I'm a newbe to stock markets. Could someone explain to me how do go about buying and selling stocks? Also, the dreaded tax? Is it really as confusing as it sounds? Last edited by Rahul; 07-16-2008 at 04:38 PM.. |

I have one advice for you. Find the shares of solid and established company to buy. When no one want them, it is time to buy them and when it is hot where every possible human beings are talking about the stock market, it is time to sell. This method is called the contrarian investing.

I'm interested in the replies here, too. The stock markets seems really complicated to me! Is it fairly easy for an amature to get involved. What are the best avenues to pursue as far as stockbrokers and investment sites go?

Stock Market always has an impression as if it is really complicated. But if you invest in a growing and already established company, you think you would be facing a loss? Even if they face a loss today, they will come back once again tomorrow. So, often even newbie won't be loosing money in stock market. If you are still confused, go and try out some stock brokers who does everything for you but expect a good commission. (Yes, they would expect a big commission but also make a good profit for you.)

If you were doing intra trading, then they are on daily basis, if you buy shares today, you just will have to sell it today itself, so, when you buy a share, consider the amount, yesterday the same stock sold for at last. So, if it had opened with a high margin than yesterday, don't buy them. It will come as down as possible to reach yesterday's value. Then you can try to buy them if the price goes even down than the last day's price. This is the main tips I would give to any one as people makes loss only by not considering this section. |
