I've been pitched by a friend an investment opportunity to invest $6,000 and make a potential profit of $70,000 in three months.
The reason is because of the very isolated island location and its unconventional nature; Ever seen the movie Blow? Its a one time investment and I'm a silent investor. I give the money and take my percentage. I have a total savings of $25,000 and I could recoup within 4 painful months. I am young so i'm really thinking about it. I've been working for two years to pay for college and this could solve all my problems in 3 months. Is this too high a risk investment? |

Depends on what it is. Why dont you go into details with him and just keep asking and questioning. Only then can you know if you should invest or not. You dont invest based on feelings, relationships or anything other than return of investment.

Indeed italkcash, maybe he have a point. Its up to you depend on what it is because you're the one who really can tell if you should invest or not.

If something sounds to good to be true, it usually is. If you've got $25K in the bank, I'd leave it there,
I don't like the idea of an investment pitched by a friend. But thats just my opinion.
