New member just testing the waters

I found this site by searching the web for connections to investors that may be interseted in a website idea that I had a few months back. I hope that I am in the right place and that maybe someone can lead me in the right direction as to how I should proceed with my idea. I can't disclose the specifics because I haven't gotten a patent on it, but I can share the following:



I few months back I had a custom, non automobile vehicle for sale. With the economy the way it is, I was having trouble getting even 50% of what the vehicle was worth just one year prior. I ended up having to sell it for roughly 40% of the dollar amount that I had invested in it. I was desperately seeking a way that I could get the maximum dollar and I came up with what I believe to be a lucrative idea. My idea is a website where people could sell their items,(any item), and virtually get any asking price they desire within reason. The buyer would have a chance at getting the item for a very reasonable price. It's hard to describe my idea beyond this without protection, but rest assured that my idea would make it very easy for the seller to sell anything they desire at virtually any price they desire in a short amount of time. The buyer would be equally happy with the transaction.


What I am looking for is an investor or investors to listen to my idea. I am not a college graduate, a businessman etc. I simply have an idea and I need some help to get it rolling. I am not looking for any upfront money, although, would be willing to sell the rights to my idea if the price was right. I am willing to hand a very large percentage of ownership in my idea to the right investor/investors. I don't need control of anything. If anyone is interested I would need for you to sign a non-disclosure and no-contest document. I am in the process of getting the idea patented, but don't have the patent yet. Hopefully I am in the right place because I have no idea how to go about pursuing this idea myself.
