Thumbs up Channel Trading Strategy

The Ten Steps To Profitable Trading is a simple ten step, short to medium term swing/channel trading strategy developed over many years of successful trading. It maximizes profit and minimizes risk resulting in a consistent 'buy low sell high' trade. http://www.spectrumsonlinejobs.com/1249-32.html

so I was looking into learning to trade the stock market. Some guy was telling me about a guy in North Carolina named Gary Williams who teaches some form of stock trading or investing class. I was a little sketched by it at first, but his first set of classes only cost $900 as an online video. i think his site was www.achieverschoicequest.com but the class goes by the name Wall Street Basics.

Has anyone taken his class? I like the looks of it. The guy i met told me that the class covered options strategies, working with splits, investing, trading and some other things.

I'd really like to sign up for it and think I might. I know the guy's probably going to make money from the video class. But isn't that what I'm wanting to do? Who can fault a person for making money teaching something they learned how to do.

The story I heard is that this guy worked in some factory and learned how to trade in his spare time. After some years of study, he was able to walk away from his job and dedicate his life to doing stock stuff.

Can anyone validate this guy's story?

The Trend is Your Friend is a tried and true market adage that is indeed one of the most valuable futures trading tenets. However, history shows that most markets tend to move in a non-trending, or sideways fashion more of the time than they are in a trending mode. There are several methods by which to trade non-trending markets. One popular method is called "swing trading.
