I am applying for a mortgage. I have an investment account. Does the bank care about how much I have in there? If so, what does the bank need to see regarding that account?

It depends on the type of investment. if your assets are liquid always then it matters, if it is a long term investment which is locked in, the bank will not consider it as immediate capital...

I agree with Insidetradellc.
Bank will consider which type of investment account you have. Is it a long term investment or just any short term?
