This is as different as it can ever get, but it works and both the demand and supply is out there.
Onc can say that the investment carries HUGE risk, but has a potential of paying thousand of % if the hunt of a certain lost vessel or city proves to be true.

BILLIONS of dollars in gold bullion lie beneath the seas. Diamonds, emeralds, priceless artifacts and works of art are lost in sunken ships, and stashed on land in forgotten caverns waiting to be found.

Mel Fisher of Treasure Salvors Inc., which is based in Florida, is regarded as one of the world's most successful salvagers. However years of litigation and regulatory activity have made him reluctant to talk about investing in treasure hunting.

After emphasizing that he is not soliciting funds for such projects, Mr. Fisher explained that there is only a narrow group of people who are suited for the investment: "Most of them would probably be a 'accredited investor,' that is somebody that had in excess of a million in assets - not including their house - or else has in excess of $200,000 a year in income."

He added that treasure hunting, by its "very nature," is "about the wildest speculation you can get into, except the lottery."
Speculative as salvaging may be, sometimes it pays off. Mr. Fisher spent years searching for the Nuestra Señora de Atocha, a treasure-packed Spanish ship that was part of a fleet caught in a hurricane in 1622, and he eventually found it.

The question although lies in what treasures can really be found down there. If the quest could show that it brings you Atlantis I bet finding the money shouldn be that hard.
Recently a huge load of gold has been found in a sunken spanish year from the age of the pirates, which gave the industry some more boost.

Hmm i'm alway thinking the movie like indiana jones if something like treasure hunting is mention. but that's quite interesting investing in treasure hunter, i never imagine this at all.

Quite a different approach to manage your assets I would say as well, but none the less the profit is huge. But I think this type of venture is mostly reserved to those that are really into treasures as a niche and at the same time looking to make some headlines with a sunken spanish galleon.

Investing in treasure hunting might give you the highest return or nothing - if they cant find the treasure..!! that's the keypoint...

i think for people who are totally rich they can really invest in this kind of thing because they will not mind if they will not earn from it. they can really gamble with their money. and they can really wait for a long time and have paitence before they have some return from their investments.

I'm not sure but involving in treasure hunting seems better than just investing those equipments and stuffs then wait for the news, I think for those who invested in this would be nice to involve like tagging along or try to help if possible so at least even if there's no treasure he still gain some experience, good ones hopefully.

Well i dont know much how can we invest in treasure hunters. Is it same like we invest in stock market, commodities or forex market
