Relying on treasure is not like relying on your fund manager.Treasure hunter depends on some unprooved myths and they can always say there was nothing there, but a fund manager is always accountable. But life of a treasure hunter must be quite interesting.

These are high risk investments. Plus you're not entirely sure that you'll get something out of the hunt. It's like investing on something and the probability of a loss or a gain could be 50:50. Treasure hunting is a real hard job as well as investing in it. Its like finding a needle in a haystack. It would be best avoiding such if you're not really willing to invest a huge amount of money. Otherwise, you could kiss your investment goodbye.

Quick return of investment is not always the best option. For instance HYIP is just what you are looking for, but the risk is high and the frustrations are sometime not even worth it.

To build up wealth you need patience and financial control, which is exactly what HYIP is not giving you. Basically you end up wasting years in the hope of scoring big bucks. You might as well play in a casino and get over the rush.

The investment in Treasure Hunters is a high risk as well, but at least you know exactly where your money are invested and you know that the people on board have the same interest as you in finding the buried treasures.

My Aunt invested on this "adventure" ages ago, during the popularity of the Yamashita Treasure in Philippines. It was a waste of money, and they had only digged dust, and garbage.

Joining the hunt would be fun though.

Well, valuable treasure is hard to find, that's why they are valuable.

Yeah, I believe that, the sad part is, alot of these "hunters" are just taking advantage of this. Some of them are not even using the money in treasure hunting..

I might as well, invest on antique pieces.. not really antique, antique.. but say, old appliances, like tv's in picture tubes, metal electric fans, etc. These make a good collection too!

Actually we have a case right now unfolding in Germany. Apparently a couple of treasure hunters knows the location of stolen gold in the second world war, but then again, they are not truly sure. Check it all out here: Bloomberg.com: Muse Arts
