So I was about to create some adwords for this site and I discovered what a hippocryt google is in its policy. This is a quote from the rep: Ad text and landing pages promoting e-gold, a specific type of digital currency are forbidden. This includes but is not limited to services related to e-gold such as e-gold exchangers, e-gold investment programs, and e-gold accounts.
What is this arbitrary decision? A hunger for control? Google is in my world from today on, NOT an engine based on spreading news, but keeping people footlocket by standarts. The next will be hitting markeds such as financial spread betting then the pharmacy marked, the hitting the gambling sector and so on. There is no reason to believe in the different after being a witness to this. |

Update:
Apparently this does not apply to the adwords campaigns on Business.com but they block something else. They block anything that has to do with Financial Spread Betting. |

erm i guess they wanna keep their clean image as an ultimate advertise here in the internet..
specially strict to those ads that involve and have probabilites with scam programs.. just my 2 cent.. |

Well, I think Google only wants to get rid of those scam programs in their Google Adwords. Maybe, because I think most the scam programs nowadays use e-Gold and they don't want to promote scam programs as well.

But there are still many paying sites that are using e-gold. Besides, No one can ignore the existence and success of e-gold as a most popular e-currency all over the world ![]() |
