I saw an auction on ebay for the domain Yahoo.is. I think there will be Trade Mark issue. Current price is $100,000.

yes there is no bids at the moment ! but i bet it will be !
because this is a RARELY and GREAT domain name ! and it deserve more than 100.00$ ! i think this domain will be brought by business men and business companies !

Yeah the zero bidders can be explained by the fact that it is a trademark issue,and i don't think any one is going to buy it,Yahoo would definitely take them to court.

Why they put the price too high. The new domain name with this price is too high. Thats why people not bid for this item i think

Well, people want to start their own business (honest ones anyway), and prefer their own choice of domain name and not a copy if yahoo or google.
And people who try to use yahoo name will be put to court...its risky. No wonder people not bidding for it.

the bid is not there any longer. I thing very strong that was more a joke than a real thing. This days you can find allmost anything for sale on e-bay. In a day you will see for sale bill gates brain. In fact some months ago an atomic bomb was for sale.
People maybe realised that is only a fake so didn't bidded for it.

SO no one tried it. I might have been curious enough...depending upon the min bid.
But a domain name can't be put on for a joke. Once someone bids on it, you'll have to produce it right?

I rather believe that domain name will be sold as soon as the prospective buyer know that is for sale. A name with same as yahoo.com is good because it is easy to remember and easy to use.
