If you want to trade with marketiva, dont trade at the news like NFP farm roll because the spread is too high when the news come out.

the worst thing that i feel abt marketiva is the fact that the leverage is fixed at 1:100. now ppl looking for a diff lev ratio really struggle to come to terms with marketiva. but otherwise yeah it's great for a newbie but not specifically, i feel other brokers may be as good, or perhaps even better, like fxopen they use mt4 which is far beter than streamster, there are good bonuses too but i am not here to hijack the thread, in short yeah marketiva is good for newbies but there are other options avaibale and when it comes to variety marketiva may not be the wisest of options...

Ehm, i think marketiva is fine if you want to learn about forex. But for real forex trading. I don't think its a good choice. you can try others..

yes. I know people who learnd to play forex with marketiva and once they become to know somehting and had some profit they moved to other platform because on this platfor the taxes (fees) are to high. I don't think you prefer money to be taken from you when you deposit and withdraw when othe platforms don't. And plus of that is a sum which marketiva takes form you when you want to buy or sell a currency. On some of them is higher on other is smaller.

yes i've tried a little a year ago, when i was in my holiday and i haven't nothing else to do. First was like a game. Sometimes i lost, sometimes i won but mostly i lost. Fortunetly i just play with points. I started to read something but that didn't helped me very much. I started to play by instinct and had a little of winnings. But i don't have the guts to play on real money because in the end i feel i will loose them.
So it's not something for newbies like you say.

Indeed for new account holders, they are entitled for a test fund to try online trading. They give you $5 for starters.
ANd they do pay... they pay.. but it is very hard to cashout .. and the fee for e-gold is about 8$ ..
It won't be worth the effort for newbies...is what i think.

you can get any good profit with 5 bucks they give you as bonus. They realised that is not enough for withdrawing and also they introduced this high fee. To make some profit you need to invest at least 100 $, but i don't know how much profit will give you that.
First of all you need to learn forex, because even if you have 100 $, you can lose them all.
