Hello fellow traders.

If you logged in to the traders cabinet (MyFXOpen area) you may have noticed the new "IP Address Filter" field in the settings/personal menu. See the attached pic.

If you want to just change your leverage PLEASE LEAVE THIS FIELD ALONE.

The IP Address Filter is a new security measure implemented by the FXOpen security team designed to lock your cabinet login access to a particular IP address.

If your IP address is static (never changes), you may put that IP address in the IP Address Filter to block all logins except those that come from the IP address that you have specified in there.

Important! : If your IP address is dynamic (most ADSL users are), please do NOT enter anything in this field. You do NOT need to enter anything in there if you are just changing your leverage level.

I hope this little bit of information helps you take advantage of this new security feature, but more importantly helps those of you who locked yourselves out of the cabinet by accident from doing it again.

Dear Clients

As you know, the situation with E-Gold is becoming worse every day and it is becoming more difficult and more expensive for us to deal with the ecurrency so we are forced to update the terms with regards to E-Gold deposits.

As of 11th August 2008, all E-Gold deposits will incur a 60% fee on withdrawal. This applies ONLY to E-Gold deposits made AFTER 11th August 2008.

All E-Gold deposits made BEFORE 11th August 2008 will remain on the current of a 20% fee on withdrawal.

We apologise for having to increase the fee again, and we hope you understand that there is no alternative left for us but to discourage the use of E-Gold at this time.
