Default Bomb prompts evacuation of North Sea rig

ABERDEEN, Scotland, Feb. 10 (UPI) -- A bomb hoax Sunday set
off the evacuation of oil rig workers from a "floating hotel" in the
North Sea about 100 miles off the coast of Aberdeen, Scotland.
A British Nimrod jet coordinated Royal Air Force helicopters
airlifting employees from the Safe Scandinavia, Sky News reported.
About 75 of the 500 people had been flown off the facility attached
to the Britannia oil rig before the threat was deemed a hoax and the
operation called off.
The threat was allegedly made by a woman aboard the rig, an
official told Sky News.
Offshore Workers Union spokesman Jake Molloy said there was
little chance of an actual bomb on the facility because security is
"very, very rigid."
He said the evacuation and deployment of a bomb unit from
the mainland was "precautionary."

Could this in any way effect the price on oil?
