Exclamation French bank clerk created big stock plunging?

Today I read from the news that one French bank clerk bought big amount of stocks in criminal way, which caused the whole European stock market plunged in big percentage... It might influenced the global stock market... Name of the bank where he's working is Societe Generale, his action made huge loss of the bank... Wow, I can't imagine how that happened, it's a tradegy for the bank...

In the beginning I got doubt about my spelling of clerk, but after checking dictionary I got that I'm right, hehe... However, I don't get that clear about the meaning of "clark" here, bird, poet, gray yellow, or what? Anyway I think you were making some joke about that, haha... So how is the bank now? Maybe suffering some financial problem?

Well, i was referring to one of the super heros in "Clark and Gable" comics. The bank shouldn`t suffer a crisis too long. They will always have some reserves, set to face challenges...

remember there wasa movie that a clerk did that and caused the bank to be forced to bankrupt.
It actally happened these days, illegal trading for the bank and buying stocks for the bank instead of the clients is so illegal and forced the bank to bankrupcy.
Some bank brokers do that just to correct the tradings and have a side account to helkp them manipulate the market.
