With the ongoing economic financial turmoil, dividend stocks seems to be next to be targeted of not being able to pay out their investors the promised dividend. As of now, most banks and big blue chip companies have cut the dividend payout to shareholders for at least another 12 months. This of course will also affect the dividend stocks especially those paying monthly.
