For me, paypal is the best and i'm not really like to use amazon or google checkout. But i will try it next time because its important if i want to earn big. I need to have many account if i want to earn more. Google checkout and amazon still in my list and actually its rare to get paid using that payment processor.

If google checkout can prove them better than paypal or any other program out there. For sure in no time they will be become bigger than other payment processing. With backup from their adsense and adword should be no problem.

google checkout will mainly be used by google adsense owners for a year or two .. and then it will widely use by other websites .. because it will get their page ranks higher .. this is just my assumption .. but who knows google may use its power to make it widely acceptable .. like paypal .. before this it only use in ebay ..

Google checkout is new, and Amazon only deals with books and e-books. But paypal has been since a long time ago. They have e-bay and hence a wide marketbase as well. Lots of items are being sold and bought....what more does one need?

2CO has some bad reviews:

Quote:
I used 2checkout to pay for a service through paypal, and after 4 wrong messages, they wrongly deducted USD 810 from my account. They admit the error, but despite pressure from a helpful vendor, a paypal resolution case, and numerous emails, after 22 days, no refund has been paid. The only message I get is a standard "it may take 7-10 days to process the refund"

I would steer well clear of 2checkout, the worst service I have received online!
and some good stuff:

I have use 2CO's service since 2003 and up until now everything works fine. 2CO can easly integrated with 3rd party software such as membership script and shopping cart.

They have excellent fraud and dispute resolution center and I only have one chargeback history so far.

Also, they can send you the money via check or wire transfer. I choose wire transfer and it only takes one day for the payment to arrive in my bank, here in Indonesia.

If you're a non-US/International marketer look for no other service. They are accepting clients from most of countries in the world.
But many claim 2CO is confusing and is problematic and the Customer services is :P

You cannot be sure that you`ll be out of any errors. All computational systems give errors, especially when the servers are Overheated/Overloaded. But, i feel that the GCO system is already like a payment processor, since you can have some balance in your account... This should make sense

I heard Google Checkout is now free for merchants but soon by next month it's gonna charge them. Also ebay bans Google Checkout as a payment system as I believe it threatens paypal business which is owned by ebay.

e-bay bans all payment proccessors and e-currency except paypal as a payment system. They banned e-gold.

Ebay bans other payment processors, only PayPal is allowed.

eBay has revised its policies to only allow one online payment service, PayPal. This comes after speculation that Google is preparing a payment service. So far the reaction among eBay users has been mixed.
