Yes i too have seen it. You need to contact your local bank for the IFSC code.
For example i have an State bank of india account. My account IFSC code will be SBIN000XXXX this XXXX will be my own personal number that is attached to my acocunt.
Just enter this number IFSC code and your account number and get your money transferred.

it is called as a swift code. every bank has its own swift code. just like when you open an account in moneybooker they will ask you this switft code too before you can withdrwaw your money. you just ahve to call your bank and they will give it to you. some times people in the bank in my experience will have hesitancy to give the swift code. just ask the people who are really familiar with the use of the swift code and they will give it to you. some people in the bank are afraid to give swift code thinking it is not safe. but actually it is just fine to get their swift code.

Thanks indieover for the great information. Well is this swift code a kind of security check with the bank? for security check i think we have already the pin number and account numbers. So why we need this one?

actually in moneybookers. when you will add your bank account. you will not be able to do that by just typing your account number and listing the name and the address of your bank. in order for you to add your bank. you just haev to give the code and the site will immediately know the name of your bank and you will be able to put your bank account. but in paypal we in our country don't have that swift code. we add debit card with visa logo. so i really dont know what is the purpose of swift code in paypal in your country. probably the same reason as with moneybookers.

i think you are included in moneybookers too. why will not moneybookers include you in their service since there are lots of people there who will be needed of that service. if you have paypal in your country then for sure you have moneybookers too. just sign up now there and i know you will be able to.

IFSC is not the SWIFT code. It is the International Finacial Security code found on your card....It's usually found on your account book and on the backj side of the Credit/debit card/\.

If you enter your SWIFT cade, you wont get your payment.

The Indian Financial System Code (IFSC) is an alpha-numeric code designed to uniquely identify bank branches in India. This is an 11-digit code with the first four characters representing the bank code, the next character is a control character, and the last 6 characters identify the branch.

The Reserve Bank of India publishes the IFSC and MICR codes, but only IFSC codes should be used. To view a list of valid IFSC codes, go to the Reserve Bank of India website at Reserve Bank of India and click List of NEFT enabled bank branches. Please contact your bank in India for this code.
