i would have to ask my bank for my code so that it directly sends money to the bank
but does e-gold have the same system

If have more problems with locating the IFSC code on your Bank Account Pass Book, you should use the "search" feature in the Paypal. It'll help you out.

I don`t think it might help you much, since thenIFSC code is unique and is applicable to one bank account only. You will have to clarify it with your bank, or look up in your bank statements...

IFSC code is only for Indian Banks. It is a code that is unique only for your bank's branch (More like a Post office's Pin code.) . Go to site of Reserve Bank of India to locate IFSC code. rbi

i may not have to know about this as i dont live in India but this is indeed a very good information sahara. by the way paypal has limited my account for large amount received last year. they said they'll send a mail to my address with verification code inside. already 2 month now but still nothing arrive

Well IFSC code is provided by RBI who handles the banking systems in India and PayPal ask it to make your bank brance can take PayPal transfer which is hadnle by RBI. IFSC code is avialable on your bank's passbook or you can ask them. However if you can't find it than please make direct visit on RBI's website at:
