spy doctor is an anti-spyware i think, anyways that will not stop hacking accounts ! because antivirus's are better than antispywares, however, just do not enter a weird link and you will be fine !

i think you forgot to log out i think hackers hacked you on e gold not from your pc i heard that they can get any acc. or any vcc by this way most people jusy clos the page you must log out to keep your acc safe

no there is no way to do so ! because egold website is secured very well and from FBI as well ! there was long time ago, it has been a vulnerability in their website, if you provide the batch number they can hack your account, but now it's not working ! the only way now to hack accounts, is the win32 Grams trojan ! you must install an antivirus !

Even if you close the window without logging ou, when you enter the e-gold website you'll find that your account had been closed and you need to re-login to your account. It's called "Anti Hacker" programs.

I see that there is no relation between logging out and getting hacked because at any time if you only close your account and tried accessing it again so you will be asked again to enter the passphrase and the turning code then your account is secured from that side ..
I see that getting your account hacked can happen by other ways , may be from a keylogger that traces what you typed on the keyboard while you were accessing your account , therefore the hacker get what you typed , will change the passphrase and take all your money .

i never had any phishing mails delivered to my mailbox, i did nothing, expcet one blunder i think, i never used the SRK in e-gold, so maybe a keylogger trojan did the job!

That can actually be the reason, thats why you should change your password periodically, also dont access your account from outside home.
If you have more than one computer make one just for business and make it alot more secure than the home use one.

To maintain security in your computer you should use:
1. An anti-virus: I recommand Kaspersky, or McCaffe. Install the latest version.
2. Anti-spywares: Spy Doctor is the best software for this.

Well, antispywares always messes up my registery and I end up restoring the PC to an earlier restore point.
So I remove them manually without any antispywares (if i can)

You should be more careful because spywares are more dangerous from virus when it comes to passwords and usernames, especially if you are using your e-currency daily.
They can make a "kek logger" which will know the words you are typing in the password box (the ***** marks).
