Updates are readily available just like in my avg antivirus.

I recommend the spybot and avast to you. Mcafee is good for virus, but not so good for spyware. Karpersky is good for all kind but then it requires huge memory usage.

Not recommend for free avg. If AVG Pro, its fine. If not, you can use spybot or avast like cheer said. Kaspersky and nod32 also good. So, its depend on you to protect your account and your PC.

i used avast before, recommended by a friend who knows many about anti-virus. good one if i must say but take a few times to start scanning also i heard spybot is good, but i cant find the free one. err..is this a thread about software guys

Its not only about software. We discuss about how we can protect our pC and e-gold account from got hacked. This tips i think its important. Some people ignore it because they think its not important or not necessary.

which ever antivirus or anti spyware you use, you must have an registered one and not a trial one, then you must also have access to the internet. This is because you will want to keep your AV or AS updated so that they can fight new kinds of threats, also most people are lazy nowadays to turn on their spyware cause it will slow down pc, thats why they've a lot of spyware..

yes ! but you can download the license.. from a warez forum or torrent websites ! i prefer kaspersky antivirus because it´s very secured ! also i think if you use the RSK to type your account password it would be good tip to protect it from keyloggers

you may use a great antivirus like kaspersky ! it can catch this script very easy ! and specially the new version, check it out
