Why will they close? They don't have losses on their busines unless the US government orders them to close e-gold.

loses is';nt the only thing to worry abt, you know there are other things for example the effort tht e-gold has to pout in to manage it now, you must know that e-gold is ina huge slump at the moment, and there are alreasy whispers around that e-gold might just shut down altogether!

Maybe the US government is just pressuring them because of this money laundering issues.

Maybe. But i think right now they arleady fine. Not have big problem after they solve the issue. So, i think they arleady save from that investigation. I think we no need to worry. Its hard for them to close right? Did some of you love e-gold close?

3 days? Are you sure? Everyday I access to E-Gold site. I don't see they down continously for 3 days. Maybe just down for some maintenance works which is needed as like servicing car after few mileage. You will see the same happen to LR when the data grow in LR and at the time, DB backup and maintenance tasks are required then.
