Are you sure AMBank can verify and cannot withdraw? I read through an article posted by a Malay some days before, they guy told me he can cash out through AMBank ATM machine. Please verify.

Yes. Its because AMBank debit card is mastercard type and Public Bank is visa type. Most visa debit card can withdraw the paypal money. AMbank only can verify it but that card cannot do the withdrawal because its mastercard. Not visa.. Thats what i heard and many people talk at wangcyber forum.

In that case, I can understand better. As long as it is VISA card basic, no matter from which bank you will be able to link to the Paypal. Is that the real picture? AMBank one is using prepaid NEXT G, I can understand why it cannot. As long as there is a bank can allow me to withdraw, no matter which bank it is from, it is fine to me.

After fill in the registration form for the Public Bank Debit Card, how long to take for you to obtain the card? Do you have to pay anything to get the card or the deduction is done when it reaches end of the year as fee.

Yes. Thats what i mean. I think you can check it at paypal site. They also said a same thing.

About the registration. Its takes a few minutes. But to get that debit card. Its will take 2-3 weeks. You will get the letter from bank and ask you to get the card to Public bank. For the debit card. Its free. I prefer if you get the public bank account first before you apply debit card. Its only take RM250 for first deposit.

After you got the debit card. You need to deposit at least RM50 before you can use it to verify your paypal. Thats all.

What do you mean deposit RM50? Do you mean to use RM50 to open a new account? I already have an account there since years. Just the matter I have not applied for the said card. I do not familiar with the fee and all this while though the yearly fee is expnesive. Additional to this, every request to cash out the Paypal fund will incur a high fee assocoiate to this pratice. Today I see a new thing and thanks for above info.

Its necessary. If you want to verify paypal. You must have some amount at your debit card. If not, you will never can verify your paypal. Then, you can get that 4 digit expand number from paypal from your online banking in few days. If not, you can wait from the letter from public bank and in that letter, you also will get the 4 digit expand after you request to verify your paypal. But it takes 1 month..

As for the last 4 digit, you need to request from the bank or they will send you the letter automatically. How long you will obtain your card from the day you submitted your application letter? They will send the card through mailing post to your house or just a piece of letter where you have to collect from the bank?

Nope. YOu need to request from paypal. Then, paypal will process and sent the 4digit expand number to your bank statement. You can see it a few days from your online banking or wait from the letters from public bank.

Thanks for above sharing. Open the online banking will incur any fee? How bank officer will give you the ID and password? Instantly or through the letter ?

Open online banking? Its free. After you get your debit card, just ask them to open that account. Its free and they will give your temporilary password and you can change them after that..

Do you mean they are going to tell you the password instantly ? In that case, the officer will able to access your site before you cna change the password.
