How to pay using PaisaPay

If you are paying by credit card:

Enter the details exactly as given on the credit card and click the Pay button.

If you are paying by online bank transfer:


Choose your bank from the available options and click the Pay button.

You’ll be directed to the bank’s Web site.

Unfortunately, there's no way to transfer money between paisapay and paypal, even though ebay owns both. Very Inconvenient. If someone finds a way round this, be sure to post it here

The only good thing about paisapay is that the security of paypal exists for its customers as well. You can get a refund if the product is not delivered or defective. The bad thing (for me anyway) is, you need CC to make purchases. Your CC info and personal details are protected with paisapay as it is with paypal, but paisapay doesn't act like a bank account. You can't load and store. Transactions are done directly by charging upon the CC or bank account (haven't tried this yet).

(Update: looks like PaisaPay's Buyer Protection is only for show. It doesn't work for you in most cases.)

International buyers should beware of international visa fees. Products may seem cheap on ebay India, but the fees may neutalize that.

I won 2 auctions for 2 diamonds on Ebay (US) and payment had to be processed via Ebay India's Paisa pay. When I received the diamonds, they were very poor quality so I got a return authorization to return them for a refund. I returned them and had proof of shipment. My purchase was not covered by Ebay US buyer protection because I was required to use Paisa Pay. Paisa Pay and Ebay India will not refund the purchase price or even hold the Ebay seller (Colorland-deals) accountable. So not only do I not have the diamonds, I am out the original purchase price, the cost to ship the item back to India, and the price I paid for winning the auctions. Caveat Emptor.......Buyers Beware of Paisa Pay and Ebay India !!!!!

Sorry to hear about that. Did you check the seller's feedback before making the purchase? Make a complaint with Paypal/Ebay as well. Hopefully they'll get rid of Paisa Pay.

Here are 10 things you must be ready for when buying on eBay India:

1) Heaven knows how long it'll take to clear Customs (Even if they're marked as gift).

2) Most of the Casio Edifice watches sold are replicas

3) If you've filed a dispute with a seller on the quality of the product, be sure to watch every movement during the 20 days. Don't ever take your eyes off the screen.

4) Learn how the dispute system works. File a dispute if the product isn't received within 45 days even if seller insists it will take 46 days for delivery.

6) Do not be surprised if your dispute is closed without notice and you have yet to receive a refund or get a replacement of the product. (There are many pieces of evidence via google)

7) Luxury products are priced same all over the world (quoting Admin). That means branded watches, precious stones and metals, Benz etc will have only minor price differences from that of your local store. Buy there. Please.

8) Do not buy Diamond rings. They rarely reach their buyers (Many many complaints on it via google)

9) If seller demands that you close the dispute and only then will be send back the DD/ send replacement, you know you're being fooled.

10) Refunds can take from 7 months to 1 year to reach you. Think twice before buying costly items with PaisaPay.
