Although many viruses try to attack these 2 major antivirus software, however, these antivirus come with DOS application where you can scan through your HD under the DOS platform. This is the reason why these antivirus are the famous one in many giant industry like Intel, Motorola, Infineon, and etc.
Yes. I know about that. But right now, i'm still prefer with nod32. I already use it for 2 years and still not have any problem. Maybe i will change to kaspersky or MCafee if nod32 have big problem.

It is OK. I just tell what I can see in the antivirus application in real world and why people or major company still use the selected antivirus in their business. I am not asking anyone to install because I recommend it.

Spam filter is very easy to use. Yahoo, Google and Hotmail do provide the tutorial in help system and there is a user-friendly screen to picture the entire process how one can do the configuration.

Yes I have been hacked... don't go to e-gold... Internet payments, 100% backed by gold, please check your URL correctly... the website layout is entirely the same as e-gold.com ....

What they did to my computer is injecting a keylogger.. so they manage to open my e-gold and email account...

As long as you have anti spyware I think you'd be find..

How do you detect this keylogger and how they send you the keylogger? Through email or through some chatting program ? Let share with people here into this matter.

As long as you receive something either in email, MSN, Yaho, etc which you do not know the source from, please delete or disquality them instantly.

Maybe you are using some low end windows. Windows XP come with the strong firewall feature and I don't see how people can come in (inject).

Put in a good anti-spyware pgm. They detect keyloggers as well.
Just like trojans are downloaded when you open certain sites or applications, keyloggers are downloaded in the same way.

If you think you have a keylogger, use the on-screen keyboard that comes free with windows XP.

I think that I`m still lucky until this moment ..
My e-gold account never being hacked before .. and I`m trying to keep it secure everyday. Good advice for all of you is to open more than 2 accounts and never keep all your money in just 1 account

No I am using e-gold for 5 months now but my e-gold never got hacked because I never gave my password to anyone and never clicked links in e-mails about e-gold, these are little things which can make your e-gold secure there is some work required to secure your e-gold. If you will secure your account by acting on the security tips then I do not think your e-gold account can be hacked.

Sorry to hear that ..
you are still lucky because its only 50 cents, itsn`t a big loss
And as you mentioned above, we all should learn from our mistakes and never repeat the wrong actions .. try to change your e-gold pass from time to time .. that makes it more secure and harder the job of the hackers ..
