Thanks Tita, Kash.
Yes, most of us use the same password, esp. newbies, for all accounts as its difficult to keep track of it otherwise. e-gold and paypal should have separate passwords. I used to think that a few site that ask us to sign up by paypal account and a password are suspicious if they don't pay, coz then they must be recording the account and the password to try later.
Thank goodness none has been intelligent enough to do that yet. And if they try, ets not fall prey to it. e-mail account, PP accounts, and GPt sites accounts each must have a different password - 3passwords are enough though.

Talking about e-gold. My account was never hacked and I think it's because I use e-gold password only in e-gold site. Others use the same passwords in e-gold, forums, PTC sites and other sites. I think if you do that your account will surely be hacked.
Yes I agree but we talked about browser for e-gold security. Well you should always use your password in e-gold site only this is what I also do. So always check before typing your e-gold account password that you are typing in e-gold site. I have different passwords for different accounts and not using my e-gold password on any other site. One way is to secure your password is always use SRK for typing your e-gold password.

Yap. So, be careful. Nothing wrong use a same password. But its dangerous if someone try to harm you. So, better be careful. you can use " !.#. %, @, ), &" in your password. I use that and its hard to detect it..

Well titan I have to follow you on this future and I would also like to use these signs like #, @, *, &. this is very good to ad your passwords so it can be hard to detect. In E-gold we have passphrase instead of password.

Yap. You can do that if you want because its really a good idea i know from my friends. He said about that and he said the percentages to get hacked or to predict for some people or hackers is low. So, its hard for them to know our password unless their use keylogger.

I guess. But shift + a number isn't difficult to detect, but its unexpected. using $ instead of s and using @instead of a, etc. can make your password strong.

I had no troubles with e-gold other than the occational freezing of the account. I use on-screen keyboard from windows to type in passphases. I reccommend e-gold for everyday uses.

Keeping the password of your payment proccessor different from that of your mail client is very important. Ignoring to do so, you're giving the hacker two birds with one stone.
