Yeah, they recently launched the new blog that would have official updates. But still, they do send us e-mails regarding them as well.

They have now added c-gold as a funding option with a deposit fees of 2.5%.

They have also decreased fee for deposits using Western Union, MoneyGram and Bank wire transfers to $25 from $35 USD.

Anyway, Alter sounds like ALertPay...i wonder if its not a scam. Scam sites try to copy another successful one's name for better fame.
Anyway, i'm wondering how to get $24 into alterpay...can we put the money directly from e-gold?
I think it is not imitating Alertpay but it claims itself to be ALTERnative for E-GOLD

May be, a combination of alertpay and E-gold too Anyhow I don't know how far is this pay processor old so that we can rely on this. I have heard about it in another forum just today. Lets see few days more for its reliability.

Yeah well, its new alright. But its promotion is mainly for forums, HYIPs and other small affiliate sites. Nothing big as of yet.
Their features and services are ever developing though:

Another exciting news we have for you. As yesterday we announce "NO COST" deposited using LibertyReserve. Now we are offering "NO COST" withdrawals by E-Gold. That's right. If you need E-Gold you can withdraw it from your AlterGold account for free. Simply go to "Withdraw Funds" page once logged in and you know the rest.
Also stay tuned as AlterGold will soon announce it self in multiple languages, backed by both USD and Euro as well as lower fee. Also, we will soon convert all good and known exchanger's account at AlterGold to verified exchanger accounts type. We are also planning to add WebMoney as funding and withdrawing option.

Regards,
Project manager, AlterGold.
This pretty good, I'm waiting for Paypal here I wonder if my dream will come true. Probably not.

Dear Members, We sincerely apologise for the delay in bringing Altergold online on Sept. 28th as anticipated. Unfortunately, we ran into challenging technical issues, and these may take a further 3 to 4 days to resolve. We thank you for your patience and undertanding. Your business is very important to us. We'll be back online as soon as humanly possible. The Altergold Team
