Can I add other person's Bank account with Paypal? - Its clear I think isn't it?

I think it is possible. After all, they only required you to verify the credit or debit card that you want to use with the associated PayPal account. Try it and see what happens.

No, its stated in their TOS that the bank account name and the acc holder's name should be an exact match, if not, they'll just return your money back into paypal, but the fees wont be refunded.

On the otherhand, if the other person (with the bank a/c) has a paypal account, you could just send all the money into that account. Be careful that you have proof of identity for both accounts, otherwise they'll freeze both accounts as they'll assume violation of paypal TOS (multiple accounts) (money laundering).

I already thought about this. But You know, I have to transfer $340 where I have to pay a BIG sum of fees to transfer to that account first and then to get it in the bank I can't create a bank account in my Paypal name (I have given Thaati as my last name in Paypal. Thaati is my family name and upto my dad, it was registered officially. But I have not officially registered Thaati to my name) So, I can't even create a bank account. I urgently need money. I can't now change my name, wait for weeks together, and then create an account and link them and transfer money, neither I am interested in transferring money to another account where I have to pay HIGH fees. What to do?

Forgot to share today's experience. I tried adding a debit card to my paypal account since it said that I can add a debit card or a credit card. But when I added the debit card, it says that my credit card was not able to be verified? How will a debit card be verified as a credit card? Don't they allow debit cards to be added to Paypal? If not, why do they have they ask us to add a debit card?

I think all you have to do is use the number of the other bank account instead of your bank account. You can always have a check sent to the other person but PayPal does charge you for a check.

I have just added my debit card to my PayPal account and face no problem at all. Try doing it slowly. Make sure you key in everything correctly. Use the credit card option. It will accept your debit card.

What do you mean by using credit card option? There are no option given. Only single link to link with both credit card and debit card and when I linked it to my debit card (yes, I did it slowly only) it says credit card can't be approved.

Create a new paypal account in your real name, transfer funds to it after getting it verified in your real name, and add your bank account, tranfer funds from paypal to bank account.

As part of the verification process, Paypal will charge a $1.95 from your CC/DC. so make sure that much is available in your DC. Paypal will return the $1.95 upon your first P2P transaction after you verify with the expuse # of that charge. You will need to enter it into your paypal account by clicking "one more step to get verified" on your home/front page.
