I actually wish that I could do away with my bank account but there are several reasons why I can't do so

Lilbit--Have you tried calling them? If you look under help and then on the right hand side of your screen you will see a link that says "contact us"---when you click on that it will bring up the ways you can contact them. One of the ways is by phone. When you click on that link--it will bring you to instructions on how to call them. I have used this way a couple times when I was having a security problem with my paypal account. Someone always answered.

Hope this helps.

I also have a paypal debit card. I mainly use it online when you can't check out through paypal. I have used it at my gas station and grocery store though. It is a great thing to have.

Just send an e-mail to the "contact us". They'll get back to you within a week.

Frankly, I am really disappointed that the debit card isn't allowed to Europeans.

I have thought of getting a PayPal debit card, but decided against it. Most of the time, I do not have very much money on my PayPal account. I do not mind doing a bank transfer when I need to. It takes only about 3-4 days, it is free.

You're right Lissy... The bank transfer is fast and efficient. I don't really ever use my debit card anymore either. It's just so much easier to have all my banking in one place.

PayPal already gets enough of my money with their fees. Actually, I just downgraded back to a personal account with them.

Yeah the bank transfers don't take that long, and like you, I don't keep money in the pay pal account. I'd rather have the money in something I can control with my name on it, not online. Okay -- that was a weird sentence, but you know what I mean, right?

They definitely take way too many fees but unfortunately, for those of us who do a lot of work online, there's no way around it.
