Default Fewer Credit Cards in the Future?

It looks like the international credit market is going to take a nose dive, and it wouldn't be due to the mortgage melt down, but the end of easy credit through the use of credit cards.
Do you think there will be a new credit system developed for international users that will separate from those associated with specific countries?

I am not quite sure about this but as I see there are still a lot of credit card companies in the country where I lived. And when you try to search online there are fairly a lot of cc sites that offer same services, too.

Yes to some extent but then to the prevalent credit system will not be changed completely. Well i personally feel that the amount of credit card usage will not be effected by the current situation.
