I like to send some emails to E-Bay sellers. The site request for the VCC for verification which can last only 24 hours. After that, I have to purchase another VCC to allow me to send email to sellers. Is that a betetr way which is more economic and easier to contact sellers in E-Bay besides having the VCC? Please suggest aanything you come across.

They are doing this to save time, and prevent scamming also. I guess, Ebay thought that members who contact other sellers are potential customers/buyers. So how can you be a potential customer/buyer if you dont have a valid credit card to pay for the item? - This is only my opinion, I havent see any rules on this, but this is logical I guess. ![]() |

wel, they not require a VCC, if you have a real CC it will verify your account for good.
People with no credit cards are the ones who buy the VCCs. Unless you are worried about your CC security, then you should use a VCC |

I kind of like this feature for the security even though it is a bit inconvenient!

I'm all for ebay protecting as many people as they can. IT's a huge marketplace, and it needs to make sure folks are legit.
