The latest news, this time concerning Mastercard vs Wikileaks!
In one of our mayor debates on this forum it was about Visa shutting down Epassporte. This sheds some light on how the US government is actually using its power over its domestic companies to control how they should act. There is little doubt that Mastercard (and especially Mastercard) did this because Wikileaks did not live up to certain terms & agreements set forth by Mastercard. As we saw the demise of one of the most popular electronic money systems, Epassporte, only a few months ago, we now see the "adversary" of Visa Inc. being told what to do by powers in Washington D.C. The world payment systems are NOT a means of free movement of money, they are a means of complete totalitarian control by the USA government it seems. At the same time the USA is bashing China for its solid grip on state matter, while at the same time executing the very same thing, in the name of freedom of speech and in the name of capitalism. How exactly does this help Mastercard (which at the time of writing this article had their servers fried by a massive DDoS attack) ? Could any of the REAL freedom thinking countries in the EU please start moving their slow minded brains and give the world an alternative to Visa & Mastercard duo-poly? An idea could be to call it the Monnet card...... (see more here). |
