I bought my debit card from TuneMoney.com, a newly company owned by Malaysian tycoon Tony Fernandez, who is also the owner of AirAsia and Tune Hotel .. it is not even a bank, it just provided debit card and insurance ..

Why i choose it? because it simple .. just apply it online .. and then go to post office to collect your card .. and the rate is the lowest compared to other debit cards offer here in Malaysia .. the annual fees just rm9.99 per year ..

I got mine debit card from OCBC bank Singapore/Fairprice plus. I signed for a current account that pay 1% interest per year and does not require a minimum sum to be in the bank account. And they happend to bundle a free atm card that is a full fledged visa debit card which does not have any annual fees

In my country, there are a few ebit cards that does not have any annual fees and much more debit cards/credit cards that at least have their 1st to 4th year (depending on what cards) annual fees waived by the bank

it is good to know that in your country the bank doesnt charge a cent for debit card.. here i guess for now the lowest fees is Tune Money debit card .. for most of us, to choose a debit card we must compare the annual fees .. the lowest will definitely grab attention of buyers .. plus the ability to purchase online ..

I believe you have no problem verify paypal with it? How long does it takes to get the card and I find the annual fee is pretty low compare to PBB.

I agree. ICICI is best in that way, but i use SBI accounts. They have more services and has outlets throught the country. SBI debit cards and CC are good and they give it to you real quick I got min within a week of creating the bank account.

So here i think we can summarize why we chose that debit card ..

1) Lowest annual fees
2) Easy applications
3) Can be used to purchase online
4) Have ATM cards to withdraw money at local banks

You can add "Also has a security Verification Code".
I find a few DCs don't have it, even though it's backed by MC or Visa.
