You mean credit card debt Orrymain? Yes, it takes a while to get rid of, but you are well on the way if you have done a good cutback on your credit card usage.

Orrymain, if you really want to get rid of that debt, don't just cut back. Throw every extra dollar you have at it. Sell things; stop going to the movies; eat only at home. Trust me, when you get those things paid off, you'll have more cash and you'll feel better. Short term pain, long term relief.

Yeah. I don't have a lot of them anymore, but unfortunately, I've had to use them for vet bills and groceries for quite a while. I'm finally getting to where I'm trying to do more up front paying (debit card), so I'm happy with that. My financial situation is pretty yucky though. I'm doing a lot of surveys and review writing online to try and bring in money to let me pay more up front. It's not easy.

Ah, Fred, I haven't gone to a movie in 3 years I think. I actually don't buy anything extra, and I'm being serious. I allow myself one or two 'treats' per year, because I believe we need to for emotional wellbeing. I utilize fast food less now than ever. Used to go several times per week, now just about twice per week. I'm down on that income totem pole so it's not easy at all; I have no extra money. Working like the dickens to make money online though, and that's what is helping me right now.

I don't own any credit cards either. I honestly believe that the only ones who benefit from credit cards are the companies who give them to you.

It's all about money management. I do have credit cards, but I won't use them if I know that I won't be able to pay the charges.
If you have no credit card, I just don’t get how you reserve a hotel room, rent a car etc. You need a credit card to do this!

It is simply best to live without worrying how to pay for debts. I don't really go for credit cards but I have one just in case I would really need to buy things in the future. There is really nothing wrong with getting yourself a credit card as long as you know how to handle it.
