Orrymain, if you really want to get rid of that debt, don't just cut back. Throw every extra dollar you have at it. Sell things; stop going to the movies; eat only at home. Trust me, when you get those things paid off, you'll have more cash and you'll feel better. Short term pain, long term relief.

Yeah. I don't have a lot of them anymore, but unfortunately, I've had to use them for vet bills and groceries for quite a while. I'm finally getting to where I'm trying to do more up front paying (debit card), so I'm happy with that. My financial situation is pretty yucky though. I'm doing a lot of surveys and review writing online to try and bring in money to let me pay more up front. It's not easy.

It's all about money management. I do have credit cards, but I won't use them if I know that I won't be able to pay the charges.
If you have no credit card, I just don’t get how you reserve a hotel room, rent a car etc. You need a credit card to do this! |

It is simply best to live without worrying how to pay for debts. I don't really go for credit cards but I have one just in case I would really need to buy things in the future. There is really nothing wrong with getting yourself a credit card as long as you know how to handle it.
