Default which virtual payment card?

I've seen that there are several different virtual payment cards (the sort where you put money on and then spend it online like as if it was a credit card but less risk as it's not linked to your bank account).

Has anyone used any of these and are they good?

MBNA
Paypal
Citibank
Discover

Its better because all people are capable of owning a vcc, not like the actual cc, people are bounded by the age restriction rule. But the downside of it, there's a high chance of your paypal account being freezed!!

Is that so? I went to do some quick checking and heard some say it's against paypal TOS, May I know why paypal would freeze the account?

Yes, its against paypal TOS if I remember it well... well its because they are VIRTUAL.. haha, this means if paypal let people uses vcc, they can't guarantee the safety of their users. For example you're dealing with a verified user and you feel comfortable, but actually that verified user is a 6 year old kid who's using vcc.. now you see why paypal doesn't allow to use vcc??

I don't need a vertual debit card as paypal and e-gold can make the payments for me anywhere online. I think paying $15-20 for a VDC is a waste as paypal can do it for me free.
Where can we use a VDC exclusively anyway?

Many companies now offer a virtual debit card from Visa, MasterCard, or Maestro. These virtual debit cards can be recharged using electronic money devices. The advantage of a virtual debit card is that it offers more privacy and security. Debit cards can be overdrawn, which means you can accidentally spend more than you have in your checking account and then face overdraft fees. With a virtual debit card, any transaction that requires more funds than are on the card will be denied, which helps prevent you from spending more than you have on the virtual debit card and facing extra fees. Also, most people keep money in their checking account even when they have no need to use it. It is left there just in case. If their debit card is stolen a thief can use all of the money in their checking account, and more. With a virtual debit card the money is placed on the card just before use, so if the card is stolen the thief will only have a card with no money on it. Furthermore, the CVV2 or CVC2 codes that are required to use the card are not actually printed or embossed on the card. Instead, they are usually mailed to the cardholder in a separate envelope. So if you have your virtual debit card stolen, the thief will not have the CVV2 or CVC2 needed to use the card even if there was money on it.

Using a VCC is like using a fake ID or a fake passport.I know many who have stopped using Paypal on a regular basis because too many people are using VCC and no one knows who is honest and who is not anymore. Too many frauds going around Paypal and their good name got blacken because people finds ways to cheat their verification process. Most VCCs have not much real details on them. Only beginners or first time verifiers use VCCs with real info.

the people selling vcc for 7 dollars are earning from it
paypal requires only 2 dollars in the vcc to verify and the ppl selling it earn 5 extra dollars from each vcc they sell
