I agree gold is a rather good investment unlike those flat money like Dollar which seems to be in a terrible mess, it has been considered the standard money by most around the world since ages. It's not that difficult to carry around and looks nice hehe. I'm thinking of getting some in the future just for the sense of assurance.

Although, the price of gold can go down and up, which means it is unstable. But I still think it is a nice asset to hold, cause there's still a way when buyers want to buy your gold at a low rate, just don't sell them or sell them a little, and keep it until the rate of gold hike again in the market

commodities if for long term i guess .. we have to wait for a long time to make profits rather than forex that its market is changing as you blink your eyes .. huhu .. but i guess commodities is safer given that you take part in natural resources; gold, crude oils, tin etc .. their price for sure will go up .

I believe commodities are good for those who can tell which stuffs would have its price increase in the future and it's valuable as they are not in paper form or anything. Imagine if war broke out or something bad happen around the world, our money would be useless, our banks collapse but with physical things like gold and such, it's more like contingency plan for me seeing how terrible current events has been

I`ve traded on Gold and Silver versus Dollar. But i quit it very soon, since both are long term based, and are subject to high risk as well...

Yeah the investments in gold and all should be long term in nature, cause the prices of such items do not fluctuate like the prices of stock. So if you want to earn a decent profit then just wait.

Can you tell me why the exchange is falling down,Cause i actually don't understand the Chinese market. It looks to me as if the govt there hides a lot of internal information.
